A Story of Cacao, Tradition, and Commitment in San Carlos, Antioquia

Our history

Chocofruts is a family business dedicated to the production of artisanal chocolates that transform the cacao from our region into unique products and unforgettable experiences. Located in the municipality of San Carlos, in eastern Antioquia, we work with Fine Aroma Cacao, cultivated by our farming families using the finest processes, following good agricultural practices, and with all the love that characterizes our work.

Our story began in June 2018, when we launched cocoa processing training with the support of SENA (National Sena). In less than six months, we were able to develop our first artisanal products and market them locally. A year later, we took a major step forward by consolidating our company through the Fondo Emprender program, which allowed us to offer high-quality products that are now recognized and appreciated in the market.

Every detail of our work reflects our commitment to tradition, quality, and love for cacao. It's our passion to bring the best of our land to your table!

We have made a 100% commitment to quality so that the Fine Aroma Cocoa that we obtain, and with the love with which we transform it, we create the best flavor.

Now, our company has evolved into much more than a cocoa processing plant. We offer our customers not only excellent quality products, but also a complete experience centered around the fascinating world of chocolate. From interactive workshops and guided tours to various activities designed to explore and enjoy the magic of cocoa, at Chocofruts we create unique moments that connect tradition, knowledge, and flavor.

At Chocofruts we carry out a careful process from the selection of the seeds to germinate and sow the cocoa crops, taking care of them with love and dedication for our farmers who harvest cobs with high quality grains and delicious flavor, for after their fermentation process and drying, roasting, husking and refining, ending the process with tempering and molding so that the chocolates with the best flavor reach your hands.
